LED Picture Frame
For a senior gift, I wanted to make a picture frame that featured a picture of my team before my mentor graduated.

Taking into account the standard size of a picture frame, and the extra space I would need for the LEDs, I prepared several drawings beforehand. Then, with board of wood, I used a CNC router to cut the dimensions of the picture frame. From there, I took 1/4" clear acrylic and used a laser cutter to raster a picture of the team.

Placing the battery on the back, I created a hole in the frame to thread the LED strip through. Lining it along the perimeter of the frame, I glued it all in place. From there, I need to ensure the spacing between the frame and picture was sufficient before screwing the picture in to optimize the amount of light that could shine through.
